On 10 March 2022, Vale Vincent Mascolo sadly passed away.

Having originally founded IronRidge Resources back in 2011, Vincent was the driving force behind all its operations, eventually leading to the founding of Atlantic Lithium, which occurred with the demerger of IronRidge Resources’ gold assets, in November 2021.

As Managing Director, Vincent was responsible for the Company’s rapid growth and expansion, including leading IronRidge Resources’ admission to AIM in February 2015.

A mining engineer by background, Vincent had extensive experience across civil, construction and mining industries in gold and coal mining and quarrying, primarily but not limited to Australia and Africa.

Vincent was a well-respected and highly regarded member of the mining and exploration community too, serving on the board of several listed companies, providing valuable guidance and mentorship to its members globally. These efforts led to professional recognition as he received MBA Merit Awards for Engineering, Construction, Environmental, and Public Private Partnerships.

He was also a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Institute of Engineers of Australia.

His passion, devotion and relentless energy for family, friends, the Company and colleagues was core to his being. These same qualities will embody Atlantic Lithium’s ongoing culture in tribute to Vincent and his tireless efforts.

He left an impression on everyone he encountered and will be forever remembered for his quick wit, light-hearted and compassionate disposition.
